[10/23/2021] Go Zip-Lining

We went zip-lining with Bellevue Zip Tour. Originally, the plan was that 4 of is would do it, but in the last minute M and M backed out, so it ended up being just Grace and I. A personal Zip Tour!! What an experience!

Seven Zip Lines, where you fly from tree to tree through the canopy of Eastgate Park. Each zip line is an adventure.

Two Suspension Bridges, where you bounce, giggle and sway.

I have to say, a couple of zip lines made me nervous. The hardest part was jumping into the air... even if you know it's "safe", still it makes your heart skip a beat. There were a couple of platforms that were shaking. Grace was fearless. And she is one of the youngest Zip Line flyers. I was very impressed by her determination to try. She went first and she was not afraid. The guides - Elliot and Kat told us that some Dad would give up half-way through the course and leave their kids, Moms never left their kids. I would never leave my kid :) even if she goes fearlessly jumping into the air, so we went just the two of us.

It was thrilling and I very much enjoyed flying from tree to tree through the air. The colors were amazing at this time of the year and it will be something we will remember.

Grace asked me if we could go zip-lining tomorrow :) I've promised her - that maybe for her 9th birthday!
