[09/06/2021] I've completed Basic Motorcycle RiderCourse

Today I finally finished the MSF Basic RiderCourse. The RiderCourse is designed for beginning riders of all ages. More than 8 million motorcyclists nationwide have graduated from a RiderCourse since 1974. The Basic eCourse that you complete online before attending the first formal classroom session – prepares you for ten hours of hands-on riding exercises in a controlled environment – typically, a paved parking lot.

Things that I've learned:

  1. Course Introduction

  2. Motorcycle Types

  3. Controls, Indicators and Equipment

  4. About Basic Operation

  5. Preparing to Ride

  6. Risk and Riding

  7. Basic Street Strategies

  8. Strategies for Common Riding Situations

  9. Basics for Emergencies

  10. Special Riding Situations

  11. Rider Impairments

  12. State/Local Laws

  13. Key Safety Steps

  14. Knowledge Test (for every section there was a knowledge check)

  15. Preparation for Hands-On Basic RiderCourse

Will I ride a motorcycle? Not sure :)

Will I get the motorcycle license and learn how to ride it - I sure hope so!
