I am now an ordained minister.

I got certified online - takes a few minutes. You may ask - WHY? I can't give a logical explanation to this except that I "felt like it". And who knows, maybe in some extreme circumstances it may become handy.

With these credentials, I can now:

  • Legally officiate weddings across the United States

  • Impress my friends, family, and peers with my new official status (not sure if anyone is going to be impressed, but maybe someone will)

  • Expand career as a minister / professional officiant (this is just in case, if my engineering career goes nowhere. It's nice to know I have other options :))

As per official docs (not taking a snapshot for privacy), now I can fully exercise my Constitutional rights as an ordained minister. It would be nice to find a couple to marry. Maybe I should put a call out online - Got Minister? :) I am available. In all seriousness, it would be an honor to officiate someone's wedding. It is such a special day in one's life.

- Yours truly, newly ordained minister
